Fortuneteller Baba, the shopkeeper for items
Items are consumables that can grant the user a variety of effects. They are bought using Zeni from an NPC named Fortuneteller Baba.
Mechanics[]
Using items briefly freezes the player and getting hit during this small window of time stops the item from being used.
Items are all one time uses; therefore, the player must purchase more in order to use them more.
To use items, the player must equip them in one of four slots from the menu. The item menu can be accessed by pressing H, then pressing the number key corresponding to the item the player wants to use.
