Form Mastery is a special mechanic in the game that allows players to receive less drainage in transformations.
Mechanics[]
Mastery goes up while the player is fighting a player or fightable NPCs. Currently, only light and heavy hits are most effective. The game pass 2x Mastery makes this process twice as fast.
Mastery Chart[]
All forms in the game (except Giant forms) go through the same process of mastery. The form starts at Unmastered, all the way up to Mastered
.

Special Cases[]
Kaioken and Blue Kaioken would be special cases. For Kaioken, upon leveling the form up to Mastered, the player can go to Other World and talk to King Kai to receive a new multiplier of Kaioken (x3, x10, and x20 in order). In order to receive the next multiplier, the player will have to master their current multiplier.
For Blue Kaioken, which is received by selecting "I wish to learn a new skill!" when summoning Shenron, the player can unlock the privileges of mastering the form by selecting "I wish to master my skills!" when summoning Ultimate Shenron.
Tips[]
- Fighting Style: Burter and Standard Assault Chase are commonly used when gaining mastery EXP. Find someone in Other World (due to its reduced form drain) and spam the LLLRRR/QQQEEE combo on them. Do not lower damage, as it can significantly reduce the amount gained.
