Rules

This is a list of rules that all users must follow.

Please note that these rules are not perfect. Therefore, feel free to message a Wikia Team member for any corrections or other amendments.

See also: Fandom's Terms of Use.

IMPORTANT NOTICE: This wiki allows only users with Fandom accounts to talk, edit and create pages. If you want to know how to create an account on Fandom, click here.

Punishments

Users caught stirring up trouble get a block. A block (or a ban) is a restriction tool administered by administrators (and above) of this wiki (click hereWikipedia or hereFandom for more details). The length of how long a user is blocked depends on the severity of their offense.

Punishable Offenses

If you suspect any user doing any of these offenses, contact a DBOG Wikia Team member. If you see any comment that violates, or you suspect violates, any of these rules, report those comments, and the DBOG Wikia Team will look over.

Generally, you should always listen to whatever a DBOG Wikia Team member tells you. Also, please note that we (the DBOG Wikia Team) are NOT official admins or developers of Dragon Ball Online Generations; therefore, we are unable to respond to any in-game issues.

The following is a list of offenses punishable by a block.

Vandalism

Vandalism (alternatively known as grief) refers to any form of intentionally destroying a page. Vandalizing a page can include:

  • Removing an unreasonably significant chunk of or all content from a page.
  • Inserting nonsense/gibberish into a page.
  • Redirecting a page to an unnecessary title.
  • Creating/editing a page in a language other than English. There can be Japanese text in pages as well, but that can only be authorized by the DBOG Wikia Team.

Farming Edits

To farm edits means publishing any kind of unnecessary edit on a page and then undoing it. Making such edits technically counts as vandalism too.

Spam/Space-Filling

Spam and space-filling can include:

  • Sending the same message multiple times.
  • Use of copypastaWiktionary.
  • Any unnecessary comment that fills up an extraordinary amount of space.

Explicit Content

Any explicit content caught will be removed on sight, and the one who posted that image/video will be punished. Explicit content includes:

  • Content depicting real-life violence (suicides, domestic violence, animal abuse, etc).
  • Gory content.
  • Pornographic content (includes animated and illustrated porn such as hentai).
    • Any content depicting genitals and other sexual organs, including questionable content (i.e. images that depict objects resembling a phallus).
    • Content featuring sexual actions.
  • Questionable content that may bring suspicion to users and/or the DBOG Wikia Team may also be removed at the staff's discretion. (Nice try though.)

Harassment/Hate Speech

In general, using explicit words (i.e. swear words) as a means of belittling another user can result in a block.

Hate speech is also never allowed. Any comments including hate speech will be removed on sight, and the sender will be punished. Hate speech includes:

  • Racism (yes, this includes using the N-word).
  • Sexism.
  • Religious discrimination.
  • Homophobia.

Inappropriate/Unacceptable Username

Users who have an unacceptable username will be blocked indefinitely until either they change their name or they sign in with a new account with an appropriate username.

Bypassing/Sockpuppetry

To make a sockpuppetWikipedia is to create an alternative account, usually as a means of bypassing a block. Bypassing will result in the same punishment as the former account, as well as an IP block.

Doxing and Asking for Personal Information

To dox someone is to expose their personal information (i.e. their phone number, their address). Asking for personal information or doxing (or threatening to dox) will result in punishment by the DBOG Wikia Team as soon as possible.

Minor Offenses

These are offenses that are not punishable by blocking or warning, yet doing any of them will result in other actions taken by the DBOG Wikia Team.

Off-Topic Chatting

Always chat within an appropriate topic in a page. Comments that are off topic to the page will be removed.

This also applies to discussion and blog posts as well. Any discussion and/or blog posts that are not on topic to Dragon Ball Online Generations, Dragon Ball Online Generations Wiki, Roblox, and/or Dragon Ball media will be removed.

The only comments that can be off-topic are message wall comments.

Advertising

Advertising things (i.e. Discord servers) is not allowed. Comments, blog posts, and discussion posts that involve advertisement will be removed. The only exception is if the link led to other wiki sites, or the official DBOG Discord server.

Vexing

Being a nuisance to other users or to the DBOG Wikia Team will result in the comment being removed. Depending on the severity of this situation, a DBOG Wikia Team member may take other actions.

Loopholes

Finding loopholes or playing smart with the DBOG Wikia Team is highly discouraged. It's okay to argue if you believe you were wrongfully punished or warned; however, do so in an aggressive or immature fashion, and we'll seriously doubt you.
